How to Control Your NinjaTrader 8 Automated Setups From Your Phone with Telegram

  Ten automated setups on a VPS, controlled from Telegram: global P&L, every computer in one panel, Disable All / Enable All and ON/OFF per setup.


Ten automated setups, several computers, one phone. When your systems run on a VPS instead of your own computer, the question is simple: how do you know what they are doing when you are away? In this short video we show how Markers Pro answers it through Telegram.



The setup: ten systems running on a VPS

Everything in the video runs live on our YouTube stream, every day: five setups on NQ and five on the S&P. They don’t run on my computer. They run on a QuantVPS server, so they keep trading whether my computer is on or not.

Global P&L from the chart menu

As shown in the previous video, you can right-click any Markers Pro menu on the chart and see the global P&L of every instance. That works when you are in front of the platform. Telegram gives you the same information from anywhere.

Every Markers, every computer, in Telegram

In Telegram you get an overview of all your Markers on all your computers: the local one and each server. Each computer shows up separately, so you can tell at a glance where each system is running.

Checking the P&L setup by setup

The global figure is the sum of every setup, and you can check each one individually. In the video, ATR Trend on the S&P shows the same result in Telegram and on the chart.

Disable All and Enable All from anywhere

If something is not working as expected, or you decide you are done for the day, you can switch everything off from anywhere: Disable All turns every system off at once, and Enable All turns them back on.

Turning one setup on or off

You can also open a single setup and turn it on or off. In the video, Reversal on the S&P is switched off from Telegram and the chart reflects it: the setup is no longer green.

Real time vs. the YouTube delay

The control is real time. The stream is not: YouTube adds a few seconds of delay, which is why the change appears on the stream a moment after it is made in Telegram.

Full control from all your computers

The idea is full control over all your Markers, individually or globally, on every computer: one server, another similar server, and the local computer, all from the same Telegram chat.

What you need

  • Markers Pro for NinjaTrader 8. Telegram control is part of Markers Pro.
  • A VPS, if you want your systems running when your computer is off. We use QuantVPS.

  This setup is the confluence of 2 different Trade Setups : Setup #1 : Darvas The Darvas Indicator is included with NinjaTrader and it draw 2 lines as shown on the picture When the price crosses one of the lines it is a signal.
