SRS Setup Indicator for Ninjatrader - Current settings on different Instruments

For those who have been following our SRS Trades on these last 2 weeks, this is a review of the used settings on each of the Instruments :

Dow Jones ( YM ) - Timeframe = Range 8

We follow 2 different configurations :

With the Trend :

• Envelope Period = 17
• Envelope Size = 8 Ticks
• Trend Period = 100
• Channel Size = 20

Countertrend :

• Envelope Period = 100
• Envelope Size = 8 Ticks
• Trend Period = 17
• Channel Size = 30

Both configurations using 3 ticks as Entry Offset, 14 ticks of Stop, 10 Ticks of Target 1

Crude Oil ( CL ) - Timeframe = Range 9

We follow 1 countertrend configuration only :

Countertrend :

• Envelope Period = 187
• Envelope Size = 9 Ticks
• Trend Period = 61
• Channel Size = 16

This configuration uses 3 ticks as Entry Offset, 15 ticks of Stop and 10 Ticks of Target 1

Gold ( GC ) - Timeframe = Range 9

We follow 1 countertrend configuration only ( same used on CL ) :

Countertrend :

• Envelope Period = 187
• Envelope Size = 9 Ticks
• Trend Period = 61
• Channel Size = 16

This configuration uses 3 ticks as Entry Offset, 15 ticks of Stop and 10 Ticks of Target 1

EUR-USD   ( 6E Futures ) - Timeframe = Range 9

We follow 1 countertrend configuration only  :

Countertrend :

• Envelope Period = 273
• Envelope Size = 21 Ticks
• Trend Period = 98
• Channel Size = 11

This configuration uses 3 ticks as Entry Offset, 15 ticks of Stop and 10 Ticks of Target 1

Dont forget that the SRS is NOT a Black Box, it is a well defined Setup, explained on previous posts.
This setup can be followed with just basic Indicators ;

• EMA ( Exponential Moving Average )
• Envelope ( You dont have it ?...get it FREE at The Indicator Store )
• Donchian Channel
